Eligibility Checklist
- Qualified NEET-UG — minimum 50th percentile (General) / 40th percentile (SC/ST/OBC). No minimum score beyond the qualifying cutoff is needed for admission abroad.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology at 10+2 (40% for SC/ST/OBC category)
- English as a compulsory subject in 10+2
- Minimum age of 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year
- University and country must meet current NMC screening-test eligibility norms
- NEET scorecard is valid for 3 years for MBBS abroad admission (vs. 1 year for domestic admission) — you can use a NEET result from up to 2 years ago.
NMC, FMGE & NExT — What You Need to Know
Practicing medicine in India after an MBBS abroad requires clearing a national screening exam (currently the FMGE, with the NExT expected to replace it in future). We only recommend universities that meet current National Medical Commission (NMC) eligibility norms, so your degree stays valid for that screening process.
We’re upfront about this from day one — no false guarantees, no shortcuts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is NEET mandatory for MBBS abroad?
Yes. Every Indian student pursuing MBBS abroad must have a valid, qualifying NEET-UG scorecard — this is an NMC requirement, not a university-specific one.
Is NEET required if I don't plan to practice in India?
Technically, no — some universities admit students without a NEET scorecard, and if you’re certain you’ll practice permanently abroad, NEET isn’t legally required. But this only works if you’re genuinely certain: without NEET, you permanently lose the option to register with the NMC or sit FMGE/NExT later, even if your plans change. Because that decision is very hard to reverse, we always recommend qualifying NEET regardless of your current plans — it costs you nothing extra and keeps India open as an option.
Will my MBBS degree from abroad be valid in India?
Only if the university and country meet current NMC screening-test eligibility norms. We only shortlist universities that meet these criteria at the time of admission. You’ll still need to clear the FMGE/NExT screening exam to practice in India.
Do you guarantee admission or a licence to practice?
No consultant can guarantee admission or licensing outcomes. What we guarantee is NMC-compliant university shortlisting, transparent fee information, and dedicated counsellor support throughout.
What if I have a low NEET percentile or backlogs?
We identify universities with realistic, merit-based (not entrance-exam-based) admission criteria that still meet NMC compliance. Your counsellor will guide you to the strongest option for your profile.
Is hostel and food included in the fee shown?
The tuition fee shown on our Course Finder is tuition only. Hostel, mess, and insurance are additional and vary by university — your counsellor will share the full, itemized cost before you commit.
Is Indian food available on campus?
Many of our partner destinations — especially in Russia, Georgia, and Uzbekistan — have large existing Indian student communities and Indian mess/catering options. Your counsellor will confirm availability for your shortlisted university.
Do you charge for MBBS abroad counselling?
No, our initial guidance and university shortlisting is free. You only pay the actual university tuition and application fees. Ask your counsellor about our service model in detail.
Can my parents track progress?
Yes. Parents get their own login to the SAS CRM dashboard to track applications, fee payments, visa status, and hostel arrangements in real time.
How safe are these destinations for Indian students?
We only shortlist universities in destinations with an established, safe track record for Indian medical students, and share real safety information as part of your counselling — not just marketing claims.
